I had an application that required two side-by side PCMCIA slots, with each slot connected to the same board which had two Cardbus I/O connectors. This main board was only the size of one card so the requirement was to move the slot via an interconnecting cable. One PCMCIA card directly connected to the main board via a SIP PWB the other off-set from the main board connected via a cable.

I searched under a number of Key-words looking for PCMCIA extender cables. Many of the search results returned either USB cables or Modem cables [RJ45] which pluged into the front of the PCMCIA card and not the rear I/O interface.

The list below provides the searched key-words, or phrases:

PCMCIA Prototype Cable

Cardbus Prototype Cable

PCMCIA Host Adaptor Cable

Cardbus Host Adaptor Cable

Cardbus 68-pin Adaptor Cable

Cardbus Ribbon Cable

Cardbus Cable Assembly

PCMCIA Extension Card

PCMCIA Extension Cable

PCMCIA Expansion Cable

PCMCIA Slot Adaptor Cable

PCMCIA Slot Cable to Cardbus

32-bit PCMCIA Cable

32-bit Cardbus Cable

None of these search attempts returned a Cardbus to Cardbus extender cable.
